Love is most likely unquantifible, but it can be seen, felt, even described. But to each person it would be different. I have seen over the years that most people describe love as something that would cause them to sacrifice something very valuable to them to safe what they love. ie freedom, life, money, etc.
For me love is believing that the person it is directed towards returns similar feelings of commitment, understanding, and protectiveness. As always, for a romantic love you need attraction of some sort. It doesn't have to be physical or something palpable, but it must be there.
But whether we find exactly what we are looking for, or if we make exceptions to the rule to find someone very close to our ideal mark, is the decision everyone must make on their own, and most notably with great trepidation. Good luck with the search for answers, I feel I may see where this is leading, let me know how it turns out.
