Bali

We have been called. We have prayed. We have said Yes. We have bought tickets. We have made a packing list. We have convened. We have prayed. We are being prepared. We have been commissioned to go. And so, We wait in Expectancy.

Forerunner

Ephesians 2.10: [For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them]. Resting in the truth that God is in control and His sovereignty is His sovereignty... awesome! What I mean, is that thankfully I don't know God's plan fully, but I know that I am suppose to be in Bali for some purpose to be disclosed to me one day. Meaning: A possible purpose for me to go to Bali might just for me to hang out with one child and pour Christ love onto him or possibly just to do some manual labor, who knows the mind of God [1 Corinthians 2.11]? There's really no telling, but what I have come to believe, by His grace, is that God works in His timing, not in John's timing.

Intentions

In the words of John Piper, "Missions exists because worship doesn't".

We go for true worship to exist in Bali. We know that worship exists in Bali, but they worship other gods, idols, themselves, etc. (i.e. idolatry). So we go to lead them to true worship. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth [John 4. 23-24].

My hope for this trip is for true worship. My hope for this trip is that the Church would be built up in Bali. That a generation of believers in the One True God, the Righteous, Holy One, Jehovah Sabaoth, Jesus, would be called out of darkness and into light by His grace and for His glory [Ephesians 1.6, 12, 14].

We've been petitioning for God to go before us (which He has) and establish Himself in their hearts so that we might be able to plant truth or encourage truth in lives.

Belief:

People have been called. God is actively working in lives. Hearts are being broken, renewed and transformed. The gospel is being translated by the Holy Spirit. True worship will exist in Bali, Indonesia. Awakening is happening. And so, We wait in Expectancy.

"Chains be broken. Lives be healed. Eyes be opened. Christ is revealed."
